Meanings and connotations to honor the University of Bilad Al-Rafidain with the "Academic Day" shield in a step that expresses the higher appreciation and recognition of the advanced academic status, the University of Bilad Al-Rafidain 

 won the "Academic Day" shield from the Iraqi Academic Syndicate, in honor of its pioneering role in supporting the higher education process, and its distinguished scientific contributions at the level of Iraq in general and Diyala Governorate in particular.

This honor came during the official celebration that was held in Baghdad on the occasion of the Iraqi Academic Day, under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al -Aboudi, and in the presence of a number of prominent academic personalities, led by Dr. Ali Masir, President of the Iraqi Academic Syndicate.

This honor holds deep connotations, as it does not only represent a certificate of appreciation for a promising academic institution, but rather a national recognition of the ability of the University of Bilad Al-Rafidain for excellence, and its serious contribution to building the knowledge society, through a modern educational environment, responsible scientific research, and academic outputs active in the labor market.

The shield received on behalf of the university, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohamed Abbas, the scientific assistant to the President of the University, who expressed his pride in this honor, stressing that the achievement is the result of a collective work continuous by the whole university family.

The University of Bilad Al-Rafidain, as it valued this honor, it renews its commitment to its scientific path, consolidating the culture of excellence, and working with the team’s spirit to make a generation of academics and scientists who contribute to the renaissance and prosperity of Iraq.
