Director General of the Department of Research and Development visits the Pavilion of the University  of Bilad Al-Rafidain University at the "Iraq Without Drugs" conferencWithin the activities of the "Iraq Without Drugs" conference, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research at Al -Nahrain University in Baghdad on February 25, 2025, Professor Dr. Lubna Khamis, Director General of the Research and Development Department, visited the wing of the University of Bilad Al-Rafidain participating in the exhibition accompanying the conference.

It was received by Professor Dr. Rasha Khalil Abed  President of the University, as she was briefed on the most prominent paintings offered and the awareness efforts presented by the university, and praised the size of participation and the level of organization, stressing the importance of such initiatives in enhancing societal awareness of the dangers of drugs.

** The University of Bilad Al-Rafidain participates in the "Iraq Without Drugs" conference to enhance a safe and healthy future ** .Under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al -Aboudi, in cooperation with the Department of Research and Development, under the slogan "Towards a safe and healthy future", the University of Bilad Al-Rafidain participated in the exhibition organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, as part of the activities of the "Iraq Without Drugs" conference, which was held at the University of Nahrin in BaghdadFebruary 25, 2025.The university’s delegation was chaired by the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Rasha Khalil Abed, as this participation came from the university’s commitment to support the national efforts to combat the drug scourge and raise awareness of its dangers on society.

This step comes to reflect the pioneering role of Bilad Al-Rafidain University in promoting awareness and education in the field of drug control.  

The university pavilion in the exhibition witnessed a presentation of many paintings, artworks and slogans that highlight the means of prevention of drugs, in addition to distributing awareness and guidelines aimed at highlighting the psychological and social risks of drug use, and offering solutions and ways to confront this scourgeThe university pavilion witnessed a great turnout ... 

The President of the University stressed during her participation in the university's support for the research and awareness efforts aimed at facing this dangerous phenomenon, in line with the university’s vision in building a conscious and fortified society against the risks that threaten its security and health.

Bilad Al-Rafidain University organizes a scientific symposium on the phenomenon of social lazinessThe Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Division, in cooperation with the Faculty of Humanities - Department of English at the University of Al- Rafidain, organized a attendance scientific symposium entitled "Social Lazazer", this morning, Tuesday, February 25, 2025, in the hall of the English Language Department.

The symposium presented the assistant professor Nateh Taha Abdel Karim, where he dealt with the concept of social laziness, its causes and its effects on individuals and society, in addition to discussing ways to limit this phenomenon and enhance the spirit of initiative and responsibility among individuals.

The symposium witnessed the presence of a number of interested professors and students, who participated in interactive discussions that enriched the topic and shed light on its various dimensions.

• Enhancing communication, creating a vital social environment and providing an opportunity for students to interact with each other, with faculty members, and with visitors from outside the university.

• It also contributes to the exchange of ideas and experiences between students in various disciplines, which enriches the university environment.

• Supporting student projects and providing a source of income for students: by selling their products and artistic works.

• Encouraging entrepreneurship: It contributes to encouraging students to think about their own projects, and developing their entrepreneurship skills.

• Enriching university life and adding an artistic and cultural touch, which makes it more vibrant and attractive.

All of this is in support of the student and his rehabilitation for a future and a more effective life and a great maturity.

The first student scientific conference in the College of Physical Education and Sports SciencesUnder the patronage of the President of the University of Bilad Al-Rafidain University and in the presence of the scientific assistant, administrative assistant and the dean of the college, the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences held its first student scientific conference to discuss students' research for the academic year 2024-2025, on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at nine in the morning.

The conference aims to enhance scientific research between students and encourage them to provide innovative studies that contribute to the development of the sports field, as scientific research will be reviewed and discussed under the supervision of a group of specialized professors.
